  point. Nevertheless There is a paucity of knowledge surrounding the prehi
 story of beekeeping outside of the information from the east and south Med
 iterranean regions. The author is an archaeologist and a beekeeper and com
 menced this project in 2016\, having given presentations and submitted art
 icles to a German beekeeping magazine (Guber 2016) and conducting research
  of “archaeobeekeeping” within archaeological contexts.\n\n
